Agfest Field Days is always happening, with planning and preparations already for the event held from the 6th, 7th & 8th May 2010 at Quercus Rural Youth Park, Carrick Tasmania. Just 30 minutes drive West of Launceston.

The Annual General Meeting in July saw Anthony Coad elected into the Chairman position. Executive Committee includes: Allan Perry- Vice Chairman, Lisa Ireland- Treasurer, Nerinda Lade - Exhibitor Manager, Jade Hall - Operations Manager, James McShane - Rural Youth President, Matthew Ireland – Property Management Chairman, and three executive members: Belinda Wood, Adam Chugg and Cassandra Harwood.

In September Agfest held the Brainstorming Weekend, in which ideas and proposals were discussed. The major outcome was that for 2010 they are organising an Equine Expo, this will be run much like the Beef Expo or Dairy Pavilion, where Exhibitors that are Equestrian based can be grouped.
While there are many ideas and projects in planning to improve the site further for Exhibitors and Patrons to Agfest, they are currently working on budget setting so they can commence works on some of these projects.
