Massey Ferguson introduces new 60hp MF1660 compact tractor

After five years of research and development, Massey Ferguson has released its new 60hp MF1660 compact tractor. Available with cab and ROPS options, the new models feature a bold new style with a focus on comfort and operator convenience. Operator inspired ergonomics, easy access for service, all ­steel construction and high capacity performance top the list.

“The MF1660 compact tractor was designed to raise the bar across the entire product class,” says Ross Greig, Product Manager for Massey Ferguson compact tractors. “We dedicated our research and development efforts to incorporate the features and conveniences that are being demanded by small acreage owners, contractors and specialist growers.”

Power of the MF1660 is delivered by an efficient Iseki 4­ cylinder liquid ­cooled diesel engine with clean­ air technology that meets Tier 4 interim emission standards. The proven 12 x 12 Power shuttle transmission matches the customer’s need for economy, durability, power and agility. Heavy­ duty cast­ iron housings and oil­ encased bevel gears mean smoother operation and longer life.

Sleek new styling includes four powerful headlights, a contoured bonnet, generous operator platform, scooped rear fenders and a streamlined profile. Standard cab features include front and rear work lights and wipers, dual mirrors, a bluetooth equipped Audio system and one rear auxiliary remote.
