The Piranha heavy duty Flexwing slasher is the most versatile large area mower in its range, they are been used by councils and contractors for road side applications, orchardists for wide planted mangoes, olives, almonds and apples, woods and forestry, airport applications and broad acre stubble mowing. The free floating wings follow the ground contour and allow a down cut of 15 degrees and an upward angle of 30 degrees, while still managing to fold up to 90 degrees to give a transport width under 2400mm. The hinges are a full length stainless steel hinge pin which doesn’t open any gaps during operation or transport. All sizes use a hydraulic over mechanical level lift system to allow the operator precise cutting height control, and all this is coupled with a spring suspension to eliminate body fatigue in the harshest situations. The main decks are 3 piece folded and fully reinforced HA350 grade 5mm plate with the subframe made of 75x75x5 rolled hollow section. The six rear wheels are solid forklift wheels with a 5mm thick steel split rim giving a 10mm thick wheel centre. All the Piranha range is compliant with the newly released Australian Industry Standard for rotary mowers and is proudly Australian made and owned.
